OUR PROMISE TO OUR CUSTOMERS
(A Message From The Owner)
Dear Customer,
I think we would all agree that a reliable vehicle is a necessity. We have to get from point A to point B and, in the increasing pace of our worlds here in Austin, we have to do it fast.
When your vehicle breaks down or needs maintenance, you need someone to take care of it fast. And finding a trustworthy, knowledgeable mechanic who won't try to up-sell you or who takes weeks to make the repair can be somewhat of a challenge. You need someone you can trust, not just the first time you have a problem, but for the life of your vehicle.
That's part of the reason why we make it our mission to earn and maintain that trusting relationship with you. Our goal is to empower you with knowledge about your automobile to allow you to make a decision that is best for you.
We assess what your automobile needs now, what it will need in the short term, and what it will need in the long term. We invite your involvement in the process of repairing your vehicle; all questions are welcome. We respect your right to say "no" or "not right now." If there is a safety issue, we will make sure you understand what needs to be done and the urgency, if any, to get it repaired to make sure your vehicle is operating as it should, whether we work together on that repair or not.
We hope to establish a trustworthy relationship with you and maintain it for years to come. We want to be the one you think of the next when someone asks, "Anyone know a good mechanic?" To that end, we can only become better by listening to our customers. If something is not to your expectations, please let me know (my contact information is below).
If you are a new customer, welcome aboard! If you are an existing customer, thank you for your trust and patronage. We look forward to continuing to meet your needs.
Sincerely,
Michael Heide

OUR CODE OF ETHICS
- Provide the highest quality of care with honesty and integrity,
- Maintain the highest standards in our profession,
- Be dedicated to our customers and their service needs,
- Protect our customer's trust placed in us,
- Perform high quality diagnostic and repair services at a fair price, and,
- To educate our customers to what is involved with the care, maintenance and repair of their vehicle(s).
OUR POLICIES
- We require a signed invoice to perform any requested service.
- We will install customer supplied parts, but will not warranty them or the labor to install them.
- We have a $45.00 minimum service charge.
- We can NOT provide an accurate phone quote for a repair or part replacement. We can only provide a rough estimate after you provide us with the necessary information to properly research and compile the estimate. This means in EVERY case we have to build a customer profile with the year, make, model and engine size at a MINIMUM to provide a thorough estimate as possible. This also allows us to keep that information on file for 30 days in case you decide to have the work performed at a later date. We DON'T GUESS. We would rather see the vehicle to make a proper determination to not only protect us, but to protect you, your car and your wallet. Guessing only causes problems, frustration and costly mistakes.
- When the repair costs exceed the perceived vehicle value, a Service Advisor will notify you of the concern. If the repairs are still requested, a deposit of 1/2 the estimated cost to repair the vehicle will be required before proceeding.
- Vehicle storage fees apply at $15.00 per day after 3 days from notification of completion of the authorized repairs or services rendered.
- Vehicles that are left with us and no contact can be established with the responsible party after 7 business days, the vehicle will be considered abandoned. The vehicle will then be processed with the Austin Police Department.
- Engine repairs, such as engine overhauls and cylinder head gasket replacements, will require 1/2 down of the estimated cost to proceed.
- Special Ordered parts cannot be returned.
- There is a 10% restocking fee on parts purchased over-the-counter.
